My Bio

Loving anything and everything involving colors, shapes, and texture, I have always been artistic, but If you would have told me when I was 18 that I would one day be a makeup artist, I would not have believed you. Loving art since I was very young, now it is not such a surprise that Makeup has become my life-long passion.

In the year 2000, I attended Pivot Point International, and became a licensed Esthetician. This is where it all began... by learning in depth all about the skin and body. When it came time for the teacher to show us makeup techniques, I ended up teaching the class. Greatly inspired by magazines and copying certain looks on myself and friends, I realized that my inner artist shined brilliantly within this highly personal and creative industry.

My first job out of school was working on Oak Street in downtown Chicago for a well known beauty mogul from the 70s. Here I discovered makeup was my tried and TRUE passion. I learned so many techniques that I still use on my clients today. It also taught me how to work with all ages of clients from young to our more mature clients, and how to give a makeup lesson. While working downtown I started meeting a great deal of brides and this was when I started falling in love with weddings and brides and all this great industry entails. Since then, I have had the pleasure of working with over 600 brides in the past 14 years. I love each and every one of my brides. I am proud to be a part of the most important day of their lives.

Currently, most of my clients are brides and their bridal party. I also love doing makeup for black tie events, photo shoots, and working with teens for school dances and giving them makeup lessons. I love to see the transformation that happens and the feeling it gives my clients when they look in the mirror, seeing the beauty that has come out of our shared experience.

When I am not doing makeup, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys on our many, many adventures in life.
